Having spent 40 years working in the trumpet sideman business, I have met and played with many of these men. I have found them polite, courteous, and willing to share their knowledge.  My special thanks to  Cat Anderson, Doc,  Pete Condoli,  Roger Ingram, Chris Jaudes, Bill Pruyn, Ren Schilke, Andy Hagan, and other trumpet mentors. They each spent time  teaching, mentoring, and showing me the ropes.

I encourage you to take the step and ask questions when you have the chance. We will not always have these players around.
